It may have only been two weeks ago but Western Bulldogs fans have overwhelmingly voted for the Round 17 victory over Fremantle as the Clubs best win of the year to date.

All eyes were on the Bulldogs leading into the Fremantle game, especially after the Club decided to terminate Jason Akermanis’ contract during the week.

Most importantly though a Top Four spot was up for grabs and the Dogs were keen to let their actions on the field do the talking.

Midfielders Ryan Griffen and Adam Cooney lead the charge for the Bulldogs who came out snarling in the first term with 9 goals in Daniel Cross’ 150th game.

From then on the result was never in doubt as the Red, White and Blue eventually trounced the Dockers by 82 points on a memorable day for the Club.

After the game Senior Coach Rodney Eade invited all staff members to join the circle to belt out the Clubs theme song and it was a moment that those involved will not forget in a hurry.

There have been a number of great wins so far this year and the Round 17 game deserves to be remembered as a Season highlight.

But as the Finals approach there are sure to be more memorable days to come for the Bulldogs in 2010.
