Every Dockers player rated from the first semi-final
Every Docker rated from Saturday night's loss to Port Adelaide
Michael Barlow – 8
Exactly what you'd expect from the superstar – a polished display in which he did all he could to get the Dockers over the line. He managed 23 possessions and booted two goals as well.
Zac Clarke – 4
Beaten by Jackson Trengove when in attack and by Matthew Lobbe when in the ruck. His failure to lay a tackle while Lobbe managed nine suggested a lack of intensity.
Ryan Crowley – 6
Spent the night on Power star Travis Boak after shutting him down in round 23. At half-time it appeared as though a repeat performance was on the cards, but Boak shook Crowley's tag after the main break.
Hayden Crozier – 6
Terrific start to the game and kicked two goals for the night. Also laid a vital spoil deep in defence when the game was on the line midway through the final term.
An impressive defensive performance on the dangerous Jay Schulz, shutting him out of the game completely. Schulz booted six goals against the Dockers in round 23, so Dawson's role was crucial.
Matt de Boer – 6
Subbed into the game in the third quarter and made the most of his time on the ground. Finished with four tackles and four inside 50s.
Paul Duffield – 5
Took a courageous and important mark late in the game and provided solid rebound out of defence.
Nat Fyfe – 9
Just a massive game from the young superstar – 28 disposals, seven clearances and 11 tackles. Kicked two goals in a display that had him right up there as one of Fremantle's best.
Stephen Hill – 8
Got away from a Kane Cornes tag to finish with 28 touches. Hill was huge for the Dockers' attacking drive (seven inside 50s) but missed two goals that would have proved very helpful indeed.
Tough gig on the much taller Justin Westhoff in absence of Fremantle's three key forwards. Did well on the tall forward before standing Jackson Trengove at full back. Dislocated his shoulder late.
Chris Mayne – 4
Kept goalless and to just nine disposals in what was a disappointing night for the often dangerous forward.
David Mundy – 7
A solid night for Mundy who finished with 24 disposals and seven clearances. Worked hard around the ground as he usually does and a neat pass from the pocket earned his side a late goal.
Tendai Mzungu – 6
Played loose in the first half but struggled to maintain the pace he set. Really didn't impact the game much in the second half.
Lachie Neale – 8
Incredible start to the game and was a ball magnet all night. He finished with 32 possessions, seven clearances and continued to build his reputation as an emerging star.
Matthew Pavlich – 5
The skipper was superbly held by Alipate Carlile, who kept him goalless. He took eight strong marks, two of which were taken inside forward 50, but needed to convert his opportunities.
Danyle Pearce – 5
Dislocated his finger in the first half and although he found more of the ball later in the game he didn't have much of an impact.

Aaron Sandilands – 9
Dominated in the ruck from start to finish, creating countless attacking opportunities in between. Monstered nearly every ruck contest to finish with 50 hit–outs and took several strong marks overhead.
Lee Spurr – 3
Not a great night for the defender, with his two main opponents in Robbie Gray and Chad Wingard both hurting Fremantle badly.
Nick Suban – 4
Couldn't contain Hamish Hartlett and only managed 10 disposals of his own. A night to forget for Suban.
Cam Sutcliffe – 4
Was looking good early but got taught a lesson in the third quarter when his opponent, Robbie Gray, booted four goals. Gray's dominance got the Power back into the contest.
Matt Taberner – 2
Subbed out in the third quarter without having any influence on the game whatsoever. Managed just two disposals before his night ended with a groin injury.
Michael Walters – 7
He was Fremantle's most dangerous forward, kicking three goals, but he should have put the game beyond Port's reach in the second quarter, instead missing three opportunities.
The coach:
Ross Lyon – 6
A difficult night for Lyon considering the immense injury problems the Dockers faced. Matching Port's attacking prowess without his three key forwards always loomed as a tough challenge but regardless, the match–ups of Sutcliffe on Gray and Spurr on Wingard were a deciding factor.
