Three Geelong players sit among the top five fancies to take out footy's highest individual honour.
TAB Sportsbet's Gary Davies said his firm had been betting on the Brownlow since 1995 and had never seen three players from the one club so near the top of the market.
"It probably just shows you the dominance of them in the comp," he said.
Cats star Gary Ablett remains favourite at $2.60, teammate Joel Selwood is at $8 and forward Steve Johnson is at $12.
Only Carlton skipper Chris Judd – the second pick for the Brownlow – separates the trio. He is a $3.80 chance to claim his second medal.
Sam Mitchell, despite being free to play this week, is now ineligible to win this year's medal after he copped more than 100 demerit points from the AFL's Match Review Panel this week. And that saw a slight readjustment to the market.
"That tightened all the ones at the top when he came out, because Mitchell was fourth pick," Davies said.
Several Saints are also prominent in betting, with captain Nick Riewoldt ($12), Nick Dal Santo ($15), Brendon Goddard ($18) and Leigh Montagna ($21) all in the mix.
However Davies said another Saint was making his run.
"One player who there has been a bit of money for over the last couple of weeks is Lenny Hayes," he said.
"He's come in from something like $101 to $41 over the last couple of weeks, so he's one that they've specced at odds. He's one that's shortened up; there's been a good move for him."
Other movers in the market over the past fortnight have included Collingwood's Dane Swan, who gathered 48 possessions last week, Carlton's Marc Murphy and Sydney Swans dual winner Adam Goodes.
