The West Coast Eagles has continued to recognise the outstanding contribution of women to sport by becoming the inaugural sponsors of West Coast Fever, building upon the strong relationship already established between the club and Netball WA.
The West Coast Eagles has been actively supporting netball within Western Australian since 2006, contributing to the sport’s development at both a grass roots and high performance level. The two clubs will continue to work together on a range of community programs such as the Eagles Cup and Fever Cup.
This year West Coast has increased their contribution to netball in the state, becoming a silver level sponsor of West Coast Fever.
The partnership has been enthusiastically received by Netball WA CEO Lisa Bradock, who looks forward to the opportunity to promote both sports as well as the importance of a healthy, active lifestyle.
“We are delighted to have joined forces with the West Coast Eagles and recognise that by working together we can promote football and netball at the same time to achieve the same goal,” Ms Bradock said
West Coast Eagles CEO Trevor Nisbett is equally excited by the opportunities presented by partnering the leading teams from two of the state’s most popular sports.
“Our partnership with Netball WA is very important to the club and it is wonderful to be able to continue the relationship by sponsoring West Coast Fever,” Mr Nisbett said.
