Drafted with Pick 62 in the 2001 National Draft, White had to bide his time before debuting for Port Adelaide. It wasn’t until Round 8, 2004, that he made his debut against North Melbourne. A key forward who was strongly built with strong hands, White struggled to get his body right, and was thus unable to string together games in order to keep developing his game.
