CROWDS ofmore than 80,000 are expected for blockbuster matches at the MCG in a bumperround 15, with fewer than 2000 seats remaining in the public reserve for Fridaynight's clash between Carlton and Collingwood.
The MCGis expecting 85,000 for Friday night's meeting between the traditional rivals,while 80,000 are expected for Saturday night's showdown between ladder leadersGeelong and Hawthorn.
The AFLadvised on Monday afternoon that a limited number ofrestricted view and standing room positions would be released for Fridaynight's clash once all reserved seats in the public section of the ground wereexhausted.
Fans planning to attend the match, including Carltonand Collingwood members with general entry entitlements, must upgrade to aticket for access to the venue.
Carlton and Collingwood club general admission memberswill not be able to scan into the ground on the day.
Tickets are also selling strongly for Saturday night'sclash between the top two teams, with fans encouraged to purchase tickets inadvance.
Hawthorn will be aiming to set a club record-winningstreak on Saturday night by notching its 13th straight victory.
Should the Hawks lose, it will be their 11thconsecutive loss to Geelong since the 2008 Grand Final, continuing the so-calledKennett Curse.
On Friday night, Collingwood (eighth) and Carlton(ninth) will have their top eight chances on the line, with both clubs rapidlysliding out of overall contention.
Collingwood won the last clash between the sides, inround two, by 17 points.
