POWER skipper Dom Cassisi and CEO Mark Haysman will be special guests of the WOMADelaide 2011 festival on Friday evening.

WOMADelaide is an annual world music and dance festival, which was first held in 1992 in Botanic Park, Adelaide, South Australia as part of the WOMAD series of music festivals.

WOMAD events are a showcase of different sorts of music, arts and dance, encouraging people to experience the music of cultures other than their own as a way of developing global understanding.

The WOMADelaide festival aims to entertain all age groups and people from all backgrounds.

"It's a terrific chance to be exposed to other cultures," Cassisi told PortAdelaideFC.com.au.

"It's further proof of just how exciting festival season is in Adelaide," he said, "and it's a terrrific honour to be invited to attend the V.I.P. event on the opening night of WOMADelaide 2011."
