Monday night signalled the first official Collingwood Football Club function to kick off season 2011 with players and partners making their 2011 debut.

An annual tradition, players and staff donned the official club tie which has seen a move away from the traditional black and white stripes to a thin solid black strip.

Nick Maxwell commenced proceedings with an opening speech highlighting the focus placed on the upcoming season.

The highlight of the night was the speeches by Paul Licuria and John Greening, two former players inducted into the club's Hall of Fame (as was Ron Todd).  View speeches HERE.

Head coach Mick Malthouse handed out the 2011 playing jumpers as the strong crowd belted out the club song.
