The Gold Coast SUNS Marketing and Communications team are on the lookout for a fun and fresh Camera Operator/Editor to join their team. It is vital that the successful candidate has the ability to effectively communicate key messages to internal and external stakeholders of the Gold Coast SUNS through different means of vision and video.
The successful applicant will be a competent camera operator/ editor with experience using Adobe Premiere Pro. You will be capable of working in a team environment as well as independently in the field at times. You will be required to problem solve on the run using your technical skills and in conjunction with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure all outcomes and deadlines are achieved.
The position will be responsible for:
- The production (shoot, edit, upload) of a daily list of website segments and news feeds for broadcast media;
- Shooting, editing and uploading of the post-match interviews; and
- Care and maintenance of camera and lighting kits.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong personal brand which personifies the GCFC values of Bold, Fresh, Relentless, Dependable and Community;
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
- The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across all departments of the Club;
- Creative flair to turn a vision into a final product;
- A strong work ethic. We need you to be relentless as you pursue challenges and achieve deadlines and goals (This is not a 9-5 job);
- A flexible approach with the ability to take direction from others or work independently when required;
- Ability to manage multiple activities;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; and
- Knowledge and passion for sports, particularly AFL
