IT’S A GAME OF INCHES (AND THAT’S JUST WELLINGTON STREET!)
Bunkered down in the idyllic world of Spud Central it is easy to forget your worries as the ever increasing interest rates push house prices further and further out of the reach of Bulldog supporters. It lulls you into a false sense of security similar to that felt by supporters of teams upon winning the (insert current financial institution that is not WIZARD HOME LOANS) preseason cup.
In fact when the erudite Conno and the even more eruditer Driver graciously offered me the empty seat on last week’s Pie Night I was happier than a hippy in a smoke filled Combi.
Like a chain smoker this round one prematch blissfulness dragged on and on. Right up until ten past two on Saturday arvo to be precise. Whereupon bliss gave way to rage and rage gave way to fury.
Mad?
I was madder than a Ukrainian swimming coach with TWO teenage daughters!!
And I was still stuck in my freakin car!!!!!!!!!
I felt like freakin Ben Cousins the lines were that big!!}
WHO DECIDED TO CLOSE ALL THE FREAKIN MCG CARPARKS!!!!????
According to one copper it was coz of the World Swimming thingy…….. but nobody is freakin going to it!
It was halfway through the second quarter before I got in!!!!
THERE WAS NO WARNING THE CARPARKS WOULD BE CLOSED!!!!
And another thing…
For Bucks sake will those Kanga sucks and media stooges shut the Bucks up about the 50 metre penalty!
Stop making excuses. That’s what Collingwood supporters do.
Shannon Grant shooda drilled it quicker than you can say Bosch.

Besides a few years back in the first clash of traditional Roccas when their Rocca bagged a few and our Rocca missed the match winning goal the media were all over him like a fake tan on Jess Sinclair.
But noooooooooooooooo.
Nobody is saying Shagger Grant stuffed up.
In fact they’re all saying the Pies stole it!
It depends on how you look at it I guess.
I like to think the Pies 2007 season started at 3:40 PM and all I missed was the warm up!!
