WEST Coast big man Quinten Lynch and midfielder Matt Rosa have signed new contracts with the club.

Lynch was instrumental in West Coast's 17-point win over St Kilda at Subiaco on Saturday, spending time in the middle and in the ruck, rather than just as a key forward, where he is best known.

West Coast's leading goalkicking in 2006-07, Lynch has played every match for the club this season, along with Dean Cox, Tyson Stenglein and Adam Selwood.

Rosa has not played since round 10 due to shin splints, yet he remains an important part of West Coast's future.

Meanwhile, long-serving fitness coach Stuart Cormack will return to his native Victoria for family reasons, having accepted a position with Essendon.

Cormack has been with West Coast for eight seasons, having headed up the club's fitness program.

"I have two kids under the age of two and my wife and I have no immediate family support in WA. I love the footy club and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here, but we need to go back to Melbourne," Cormack said.

"If it was purely a professional decision I would never leave. The club has been terrific to me, I have the greatest respect for everyone at the club and would have enjoyed being involved in the process of building the team back towards finals contention."
