The Demons will play at least one game a year at Darwin’s TIO Stadium, with a second at either that venue or Alice Springs' Traeger Park, in 2015 and 2016.
It signals an extension of their existing agreement with the AFL, the Territory's government and AFLNT that has seen them play in the region for the past five years.
Their second game for this season is on Saturday night against Fremantle at TIO Stadium, after their round 11 clash with Port Adelaide at Traeger Park.
The Alice Springs game this season was the first for premiership points in the town and drew a crowd of 5655.
"As part of the AFL's national footprint we are committed to taking matches to all corners of the country," said AFL general manager broadcasting, scheduling and major projects Simon Lethlean.
"We're delighted to be staging two games in the Northern Territory as part of the 2015 and 2016 Toyota AFL Premiership Seasons.
"The outstanding support from the Northern Territory government is greatly appreciated, and ensures the continued growth of the game by bringing the AFL's best players to a region that has longstanding links to Australian football and is culturally significant to this country's Indigenous code."
The Demons played the Brisbane Lions in Darwin last year after facing off with the Power between 2010-12.
NT minister for sport, recreation and racing Matt Conlan said the extension of the agreement was a positive for football fans living in the Territory.
"Territorians will continue to experience the thrill of seeing AFL stars in action live at local venues, and the Melbourne Demons will keep building support in the NT as their second base, playing two home premiership games a year in the Territory," Conlan said.
