Crows Midfielder Scott Thompson has produced another best on ground performance to put himself among the overall leaders in the coaches votes for 2011.

Thompson was unanimously voted best afield against Collingwood receiving 10 votes, despite Adelaide’s 43 point loss.

Thompson was crucial in the midfield and around the stoppages as Adelaide built a five-goal lead at half-time, and despite the final quarter fadeout he finished with a game-high 33 possessions.

Brent Reilly also received two votes for his performance in the midfield and Ben Rutten’s job on Magpies forward Travis Coke also earned him two votes.
