THERE'S one 2017 moment Port Adelaide fans want to forget above all.
West Coast midfielder Luke Shuey's nerveless kick for goal in extra time of the elimination final brought Port's promising season to an abrupt end.
Despite their side returning to the finals after a two-year absence, fans rated the season 6.4 out of 10 when giving their season verdict on the Power in an AFL.com.au survey.
Paddy Ryder's stunning first season in the teal was recognised by fans, with the All-Australian ruckman voted the second best player of the year, behind perennial fan favourite Robbie Gray.
Re-signed coach Ken Hinkley earned Power fans' backing, with an 82 per cent approval rating.
