CARLTON captain Chris Judd has moved up to second place in the AFL Coaches' Association player of the year award.
Judd was awarded best on ground honours by both coaching panels for his 31 possessions and two goals in the Blues' 103-point mauling of Richmond at the MCG on Saturday.
He was one of five players to score a perfect 10 in round 15.
Western Bulldogs midfielder Ryan Griffen was awarded 10 votes for his dominant performance in the Dogs' big win over Melbourne on Friday night, and Jake Melksham was unanimously voted best afield in Essendon's shock win over Geelong on Saturday night.
Port Adelaide's Jay Schulz received 10 votes for his seven-goal haul in a losing team against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba on Sunday, while Collingwood defender Ben Reid was awarded full marks for his brilliant display in the Magpies' win over Hawthorn in Sunday's blockbuster at the MCG.
