NORTH Melbourne defender Majak Daw is in doubt for Saturday night's clash with Sydney at the SCG because of a foot injury.
Daw has done little training this week after his foot was accidentally stomped on during the Kangaroos' loss to Port Adelaide last Saturday.
The defender has consulted a specialist and had scans in the hope of ruling out any major damage.
The results of those scans are expected to be available by the time North names its round seven team on Thursday evening.
North remains hopeful Daw will be fit to take on the Swans.
The 27-year-old has made an encouraging start to 2018 since a pre-season switch from a forward/ruck rule to defence.
Since earning a senior recall in round three against Melbourne, Daw has not missed a game.
Slotting in well alongside fellow talls Robbie Tarrant and Scott Thompson in the Kangaroos' defensive 50, his intercept marking has been a feature of his play.
