WEST COAST has brought back experienced stars Darren Glass, Beau Waters, Mark LeCras and Josh Kennedy as they endeavour to keep their finals hopes alive with a win over Hawthorn at Etihad Stadium on Friday night.

A number of other big guns are also back for round 13, with Jonathan Brown and Brent Moloney returning to the Brisbane Lions side, Harry Taylor back in Geelong's team and Kurt Tippett to line up for the Sydney Swans for the first time.

But it's the Eagles who have received the biggest boost at the selection table. Glass, Waters, LeCras and Kennedy are among six inclusions in their team, along with Bradd Dalziell and Patrick McGinnity.

Adam Selwood (back) and Josh Hill are both out injured, while Ashton Hams, Jacob Brennan, Brad Sheppard and Jamie Cripps have been dropped.

The Hawks have made just one change for the big clash, with Shane Savage replacing Isaac Smith (corked calf).

Port Adelaide has lost Travis Boak (finger) and Cameron Hitchcock (ankle) to injury, with Domenic Cassisi and Jasper Pittard taking their place in the Power's side to play the Sydney Swans at AAMI Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Tippett, who has completed his 11-match suspension for his part in the salary cap breach at Adelaide last year, is the headline inclusion in the Swans' team.

The reigning premiers have also brought in Tony Armstrong and Jed Lamb. Andrejs Everitt (achilles), Shane Mumford (cheekbone) and Brandon Jack (omitted) are out.

Justin Koschitzke, Sam Fisher, Terry Milera and Tom Simpkin have come into St Kilda's team for the intriguing clash with Melbourne at the MCG on Saturday evening.

Stephen Milne is out after being placed on indefinite leave from the club, while Beau Maister has a hamstring injury and Ahmed Saad and Josh Saunders have been omitted.

The Demons, who will be coached by Neil Craig for the first time, have included Shannon Byrnes, Jake Spencer and Daniel Nicholson, while upgraded rookie Mitch Clisby will become their sixth debutant for the season.

The Western Bulldogs have included a debutant of their own, with father-son selection Lachie Hunter to line up in their clash with Richmond at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.

Nathan Hrovat, has also come into the Dogs' side, while Koby Stevens is out with a shoulder problem and Dylan Addison has been dropped.

The Tigers are taking an unchanged team in the game.

Fremantle has brought in Michael Walters, Tom Sheridan and Matt Taberner to its 25-man squad for Sunday's meeting with North Melbourne at Patersons Stadium.

The Kangaroos have lost defender Scott McMahon to an ankle injury and have dropped Will Sierakowski.

They have brought Liam Anthony, Luke Delaney, Levi Greenwood, Ben Jacobs and Brad McKenzie into their extended squad.

Brown and Daniel Merrett have served their suspensions and are back in the Brisbane Lions' team for their tough clash with Geelong at the Gabba on Sunday evening.

Moloney and James Polkinghorne have also come into the Lions' 25-man squad. Niall McKeever is their only omission at this stage.

The Cats been strengthened by the return of Taylor, Steven Motlop, Mark Blicavs and Taylor Hunt.

Jimmy Bartel has been named after his excursion to watch the NBA finals in the US, although serious doubts remain about him playing against the Lions.

The first three were rested from Geelong's win over Greater Western Sydney in round 11, while Hunt has recovered from the broken collarbone he suffered against Essendon in round seven.

Josh Caddy has also been included in the Cats' extended squad. Trent West (back) and Mitch Brown (omitted) are their only outs at this stage.
