Power Football Operations Manager Peter Rohde says the club’s medical staff does not believe the injury is serious, but given Rodan’s history will make sure the knee is put under the microscope.
"The scans show the ligament is in tact, which is great news," Rohde said.
"There doesn't seem to be any damage to it at all."
It is the same knee which Rodan, 27, injured last December and on which he had LARS reconstruction surgery.
Rohde says the Power will be cautious with the midfielder's rehabilitation and din't expect him to resume training until after the Christmas break.
"There's no point pushing him too hard at this time of the year. We want to make sure he's 100 per cent right before we bring him back, particularly as the damage is to the same knee he hurt last year."
The club will issue an update following the mid-week arthroscope.
