Collingwood is offering supporters and members the opportunity to attend a musical production of “Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. (Royalty Bear)” performed by the N.I.C.K. Foundation Players at the Darebin Arts and Entertainment Centre.
The musical is based on the 1951 Disney film “Alice in Wonderland” and the novels “The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass” by English author Lewis Carroll.
Relive your childhood memories and make new ones with your children as you are immersed in Disney classics “I’m Late,” “The Unbirthday Song” and “The Golden Afternoon.”
Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the N.I.C.K. Foundation (Nurturing Independence Commitment Knowledge), established in 2009 after Collingwood’s Sports Science Director David Buttifant’s son Nick, took his own life last year.
The N.I.C.K. Foundation was created in 2009 with its purpose to engage parents to foster belief and hope in the wellbeing and future of our youth through sharing experiences.
Collingwood has supported its cause by donating all proceeds from the “Alan Didak” DVD sold last year to the foundation.
