Hawthorn's Tasmanian-based community team, along with University Tasmania students and special guest Hawka visited our third primary school as part of the Tassie Hawks in Schools Program.

Hagley is a 25 minute Drive from Launceston and is a small farm school with fantastic facilities. The team were eager to present our health and well-being program to 100 excited Hagley Farm School students.

For a healthy snack the children were able to make Fruit kebabs, their aim was to make a kebab using a rainbow of coloured fruits, as mentioned in the Active Kids eWorkbook. The indoor lesson focussed on Move Well eat Well including how to limit the sometimes foods.

The class moved to their fantastic new gym facilities to take part in all of the four group activities designed to keep all kids active for the 30 minutes.
