The Saints will travel to Perth with 25 players, giving the match committee a multitude of options ahead of the clash against Fremantle on Sunday.

Matthew Ferguson, Shane Birss, Raphael Clarke, Michael Rix and Charlie Gardiner come into the side that was defeated by Collingwood at the MCG last Saturday night while Jarryn Geary makes way, as does Aaron Fiora who was hit with a one game suspension.

Matthew Drain, Manager of Football Operations said, “We’re taking a squad of 25 over to Perth to give us some versatility when it comes to choosing the final team on game day. The selection committee has picked a side we believe matches up well with Fremantle and will give us the best chance of coming home with a win.

Nick Riewoldt is fit and raring to go after a minor hand injury last week and needs just one goal to notch number 300 in his career. Robert Harvey will play game number 378, placing him alongside Simon Madden in third on the all-time games list.
