ADELAIDE full-back Ben Rutten has agreed to a contract extension that will keep him at the club beyond the 2011 season.
The Crows have not confirmed the length of the 27-year-old's deal, or that of emerging midfielder David Mackay, who has also re-signed.
Football operations manager Phil Harper said the club was pleased to have secured the two players.
"Both are key players for the club now and into the future and in discussion they were both excited about the long-term prospects of the current group of players," he told afc.com.au.
"There are several other players we are in discussion with at the moment and the club will advise whenever any of these contract negotiations are finalised."
Rutten, a graduate of the rookie list, has played 140 games for Adelaide since making his debut in 2003.
Twenty-one-year-old Mackay, drafted by Adelaide at No.48 in 2006, has played 48 games since his debut in round one, 2008.
