EXPERIENCED swingman Andy Otten will captain Adelaide at the inaugural AFLX tournament at Hindmarsh Stadium on Thursday night.
The 28-year-old is the oldest player in a youthful Crows' squad and along with defender Jake Kelly, is one of only two players from last year's Grand Final side who will take part in the seven-a-side format.
"Any chance to captain the side in any format is pretty cool, so I'm definitely looking forward to it on Thursday," Otten told afc.com.au.
"Obviously, it's a bit of a privilege to do that, so I can't wait."

Otten has played 98 games for the Crows.
He missed the 2015 and 2016 seasons with a serious knee injury, but fought his way back into the side last year, playing both in defence and attack.
"I've always felt I've been a leader without having a title," Otten said.
"I'm pretty loud and vocal around the club and not afraid to say what I think.
"I've always had that aspect, so leadership on-field comes pretty natural to me."
