Keep
Stevie, Stevie, Stevie. You silly boy!
Steve Johnson [MID/FWD, $557,000] recorded the highest score of the round with 156 Fantasy points against Melbourne last week, but let himself down, again, by being rubbed out for one week.
While Chris Scott and Geelong won't fine him for his misdemeanor, the Fantasy world would like to send him a strong message…
STAY ON THE FIELD, STEVIE!
Trade
What to do with Lance Franklin [FWD, $366,100]?
Buddy's Fantasy form has been well down on previous years and a niggling knee injury does engender confidence that he can turn it around.
Brisbane Lions vice-captain Tom Rockliff [FWD/MID, $398,400] showed how it's done when he scored 134 against Gold Coast last week.
Rockliff finally appears to be over his quad complaint and looms as just the player to bring in and rejuvenate your side.
Invest
Gary Ablett might be the best player in the competition right at this minute. But Scott Pendlebury is closing fast.
Pendlebury [MID, $561,800] was phenomenal against Adelaide last week with 153 Fantasy points.
And with games against Gold Coast and Greater Western Sydney to come in the next fortnight, the Pies star could well be challenging the bald champion by the end of the year.
That hurts
Patrick Dangerfield [MID, $479,100] has been shouldering the load at Adelaide all season long. And eventually it caught up with him.
The star midfielder is set for a 2-4 week stint on the sidelines with a sprain in his AC join.
Dangerfield has been in a rich vein of form this season, so replacing him is hard.
Lucky for you there are options: Jarrad McVeigh [MID, $468,400], Kieren Jack [MID, $468,400] and Dyson Heppell [MID/DEF, $473,100] are the names you should be considering.
Surprise packet
Who would've thought it?
Richmond's Ricky Petterd [FWD, $323,500] registered a season-high 132 points against Gold Coast on the weekend, good enough to rank him equal-fifth in the competition for scoring last round.
Petterd always had the talent when he was at Melbourne and it looks like he's delivering on that potential at his new home at Punt Road.
