> Watch Scott Pendlebury address the media on Tuesday morning after the win
COLLINGWOOD midfielder Scott Pendlebury says his side is already looking forward to its post-break clash with the Sydney Swans, as it will provide another chance to extend an impressive record on the road.
The Magpies have won five of their past seven interstate matches but their run against the Swans is even more enviable – claiming their last six encounters, including three successive split-round victories and the last three at ANZ Stadium.
"It's another chance to travel and we like travelling to get away with the group," Pendlebury said on Tuesday at recovery.
"We've got a good record when we travel and we want to keep that intact."
Despite their recent dominance, Pendlebury denied the Magpies had a psychological edge over the Swans.
"They're a very hard side and I think a lot of our games have been decided by only a couple of kicks," he said.
"We're expecting a similar sort of battle when we go up there in a couple of weeks."
He also didn't believe the break would halt the Pies' momentum gathered from their wins over West Coast, Port Adelaide and Melbourne.
"I think winning form is good form," he said.
Pendlebury said the plans were to rest and relax this weekend, with the side granted some downtime because of the split round.
"We get Friday, Saturday and Sunday off so I think the boys will get away and freshen up and come back ready for Sydney," he said.
"We've got the time as individuals to get away and freshen up. The older guys want to get back to their families and it's a good chance for us young blokes to get home and see our families as well."
Veteran forward Anthony Rocca could be available to play the Swans will be considered for a return through the VFL this weekend.
"There's always a spot for someone like Pebbs," Pendlebury said, when asked if there was room in the senior side for him.
"He's such a good mark and competes really well in the air. All our small forwards love to crumb because he smashes packs open and he opens up a lot of opportunities for other players and that's the best thing about him.
"He makes other players better, so there's definitely still a spot for him."
Pendlebury confirmed defender Nathan Brown would have scans on the knee that he jarred in Monday's 66-point victory over the Demons.
