The North Melbourne players who participated in yesterday’s paintball session have arrived at the club a little worse for wear.
Ben Speight was perhaps the unluckiest soldier on the day after a paintball struck his forearm and drew blood.
“It didn’t tickle,” North’s rookie told kangaroos.com.au.
“I knew they were going to hurt but I didn’t expect it to be that bad.”
Cruize Garlett headed straight for the ice baths in an attempt to reduce the swelling of several welts which had formed on his back while Daniel Pratt was nursing a sore jaw due to a crack shot from an opposing player during yesterday’s battle.
“I also copped a few marks on my legs and one on my left side. It was great fun and all the boys really appreciated the offer to come and play,” Pratt said.
“Paul Harrington who purchased the paintball experience at the Gala Auction Night is a great supporter of this club and it was a memorable experience for all of us. Most importantly it was good to meet some other supporters and have some fun with them.”
