Richmond is one of just two Melbourne-based Clubs not to increase the cost of its Adult 11, Concession or Family membership packages for the upcoming 2011 season.
While other Melbourne-based Clubs increased basic package prices by up to $20, the Tigers have looked after their fans, maintaining 2010 pricing levels.

“There was an increase in the cost of delivering our membership packages, but the Club decided to absorb that price rise,” Richmond CEO Brendon Gale said.
“You can’t do that every season, but we want to do our best to support the fans that support us and make being a part of this Club as affordable as possible.”
Gale said a contributing factor for the price freeze was the relocation of two home games interstate in 2011.
“We committed through the process of relocating two of our home games interstate in 2011, that we would protect the rights of our members,” he said.
“We believe that by providing two replacement games, as well as fixing membership prices, we have well and truly delivered on this promise.”
Richmond has secured almost 23,500 members in its campaign so far, including more than 2800 new members through its ‘Operation 10,000’ digital referral campaign.

“Our fans have responded really positively to this season’s membership campaign - The Tiger is Stirring. Our current membership tally is a Club record this far out from the season,” Gale said.
“We are really keen to hit 46,000 members this year and we hope our approach to pricing will help us reach that target.”
