FOR EVERY goal kicked by Victoria against the Dream Team in the Hall of Fame Tribute Match on May 10, Toyota will pledge $10,000 to grassroots football clubs.

The match has been recognised by the League's premier partner as the Good for Footy match, celebrating the game at all levels.

Money raised will be donated through Toyota's Good for Footy program, which provides funding to local clubs in Victoria, southern New South Wales and Tasmania.

Over the last three years, Toyota has given more than $750,000 through the program and this year hopes to reach the $1 million mark.

Toyota AFL ambassador and Victorian captain Jonathan Brown says grassroots clubs are integral to the footy community and has seen how Toyota Good for Footy benefits AFL from grassroots to the elite level.

"I’ve been involved in the Toyota Good for Footy program since day one and the program has really grown and built up grassroots footy – clubs that were struggling to survive now have a strong future, and can offer so much more to their players," he said.

In addition, Toyota dealers have invited 1000 players, supporters and volunteers from local clubs across Victoria and southern New South Wales to the match.
