An exciting new role for an experienced and dedicated Strategy Analyst, reporting directly to our General Manager, Strategy. This role is responsible for managing the business planning process and providing analytical support to all business units of the Club.
Within this role you will be responsible for:
- Assisting senior managers with strategic planning, including the development of the Club’s strategy, business unit plans and individual annual plans
- Providing financial support, modelling and analysis to assist key strategic projects
- Building strong working relationships with managers throughout the business, providing support and advice as required
- Preparing and conduct strategic presentations and workshops
- Actively promoting and demonstrating a strong customer service ethic
- Match day and key event participation as required
To be successful in the role, you must have:
- Tertiary qualification in finance, business or related field
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role (Accounting, Finance or Management Consulting preferred)
- An interest in sport and recreation (AFL is preferred)
- Excellent computer skills with an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated experience conducting financial analysis and manipulating large data sets (financial modelling experience preferred)
- Strong analytical abilities, problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
