There’s only one week left for fans to register their AFL Dream Team and go up against some of the actual Lions players.

The popular online fantasy football competition gives you the chance to select a team of AFL superstars - within a strict salary cap - and pit them against thousands of fellow competitors.

Registration is FREE and puts you in the running to take home the Club’s grand prize which includes the following:

- Signed Lions guernsey

- Lions Dream Team winners trophy

- The opportunity to have the Lions Dream Team winners trophy presented to them by one of the participating Lions players (only if based in Queensland or Victoria)

- Congratulations letter from Lions Senior Coach Michael Voss

- Recognition in the Lions’ 2011 Season Review magazine with a feature story

Lions young gun Daniel Rich has already finalised his Dream Team (named ‘Richy’s Rockets’) and is feeling quietly confident that his first attempt as a coach and selector will prove successful.

“I don’t want to give too much away, but I’m pretty happy with the line-up I’ve been able to put together,” Rich said.

“There’s a good mix of Lions players in there, but I obviously can’t afford to be too biased towards my team-mates.”

“I've never done this type of thing before so I’m not expecting too much. But so long as I can finish ahead of guys like Ash McGrath ('Boonj’s Bandits'), Tom Rockliff ('Rocky’s Rebels') and Mitch Clark ('Clarky’s Kings') I’ll be happy.”

You too can compete against these players by following the simple instructions below.

But hurry, because registrations close next Wednesday 23 March at 5pm!
