With the mid-season break behind us it’s now time for another Dream Team update.

The Sons of the West League is still firing along with our consistent leader ‘Dream Team Manager’ currently ranked a very impressive 134th in the overall Dream Team competition! That is pretty impressive considering the 314,000 plus that are currently registered.

However, it is still too early to declare him the overall winner. We’re only at Round 14 which means there is still plenty of room for improvement from other teams in the league, time to step up people, let’s not let the ‘Manager’ lead the competition through the entire year without a fight!

The split round returned mixed results and for many coaches was a round that we were glad to see the back of. The disappointment came with several Dream Team favourites failing to take the field through injury (Paul Chapman and Marc Murphy) and others including Bulldogs star Adam Cooney failing to perform at their usual high standard.

Despite these negatives some still managed to record impressive scores. Congratulations to Adam Price’s ‘Master Class’ who recorded the highest score in our league for Round 13 with 2,228 points. Adam is the lucky winner of an Aquila Sock & Polish set and a pair of SKINS Males Knicks, which are sure to improve your on-field performance.

For those players still looking to pick up a Bulldog bargain then why look any further than Jarrod Harbrow? The last three weeks have seen the quick defender improve and up his price, but if he continues the way he has been going then buying him now could reap plenty of benefits for you later.

Also, interesting to note is the collective score of our Bulldogs. We rank second in the entire competition, which only proves that we have the talent and depth in our side.

Remember to check back at www.westernbulldogs.com.au from 5pm tomorrow to get the first look at the team that will take on Hawthorn on Friday night. It’s going to be a big one…

Go Dogs!
