Woodville-West Torrrens v South Adelaide

South Adelaide held on in wet and blustery conditions to defeat Woodville-West Torrens by two points. Brooke Boileau was the match-winner for the Panthers, converting the goal that won her side the game and starring with 20 disposals and 10 tackles.  

Port Adelaide-listed Abbey Dowrick led the way for the Eagles in the loss with her 23 disposals with Port teammate Yasmin Duursma not far behind with 15 touches.  

North Adelaide v Sturt  

Sturt was too good for North Adelaide in their Good Friday Clash, with the Double Blues finishing 14-point winners. 

There were plenty of standout performers among the Port Adelaide listed players, with Alex Ballard leading Sturt with her 24 disposal, six marks and one-goal performance.  

Recent Port Adelaide draftee Katelyn Pope showed why she was picked up with her 28-disposal performance, while AFLW Rising Star winner Hannah Ewings kicked two goals from 15 disposals. North Adelaide’s Ella Quinn led all players on the ground with 30-disposal performance.  

Glenelg v Norwood 

Three goals from AFLW-listed Najwa Allen helped Norwood record a big 35-point win over Glenelg.  

Tahlita Buethke also played a role in the Redlegs' win, kicking a goal from 25 touches while Port’s Ebony O’Dea had 16 touches and seven tackles. 

Glenelg young gun Piper Widow did her best to keep the Tigers in the game with her 20 disposals, 11 tackles and six inside 50s. 

Central Districts v West Adelaide 

Central Districts enjoyed a big 54-point win over West Adelaide to keep in touch with South Adelaide at the top of the ladder.  

Exciting AFLW draft prospect Elaine Grigg kicked three goals from 14 touches in the win, combining well with Julia Teakle inside 50 who also kicked three goals of her own. Port's Maria Moloney worked hard in the middle finishing with 26 disposals and five tackles in the win.

VICTORIA

Williamstown v Port Melbourne 

Richmond’s Steph Williams kicked the winning goal for Port Melbourne with less than two minutes remaining in a Good Friday classic.  

Lauren Caruso received nine coaches votes for her 17 disposal and 17 tackles performance with Stella Reid also applying plenty of pressure with her 14 tackles. 

Sydney’s Bridie Kennedy was one of the Seagulls' best with her 18 disposals and eight tackles.  

Western Bulldogs v North Melbourne

The Western Bulldogs celebrated its first win in 651 days with help from new draftee Bri McFarlane

McFarlane kicked three goals from nine disposals, also taking five marks in the match-winning performance. Tahlia Meier led the disposals for the Dogs with her 20 while former Eagle Imahra Cameron also hit the scoreboard.  

Casey Demons v Collingwood

Collingwood had one of the best results of the round with a surprise win over the Casey Demons by 17 points. 

Jess Bates is proving to be the recruit of the year with another best on ground performance for the Pies. Bates finished with 24 disposal, 11 tackles and a goal. 

AFLW-listed Demon Meg Fitzsimon was again damaging for Casey with a game-high 27 disposals, also finishing with seven tackles and eight clearances. 

Geelong v Darebin

Geelong handed Darebin another big defeat for a second week in a row with Falcons going down by 76 points at Deakin University. 

Chloe Scheer starred in her first VFLW game for the year, kicking two goals from 23 disposals, winning seven clearances. Renee Garing’s strong form continued with 20 disposals and 10 tackles while Sachi Degiacomi kicked a game-high four goals. 

Essendon v Carlton 

A massive seven-goal final term set up Carlton’s 54-point win over Essendon at the Hangar. Ashlee Thornycroft and Maddie Di Cosmo led the Blues with both finishing with 18 touches each.  

Former Richmond first round draft pick Sophie Molan was influential in her first game for the red and black. 

Southern Saints v Box Hill Hawks  

Box Hill reclaimed top spot on the ladder with its 29-point win over Southern Saints at RSEA Park. 

Sophie Locke kicked two crucial goals in the win and had 10 tackles while Grace McRae kicked a goal from 18 disposals. Maddie Boyd and Nadia Von Bertouch made their presence felt in the air, with both taking nine marks.  

Tessa Boyd had a game-high 27 disposals in the loss and Winnie Laing also did her best to keep the Saints in the game with her 20 disposals and eight tackles.
