THE STARS of the future will take to Marvel Stadium on Sunday when the AFLW Academy takes on an Under-23 All-Stars team.

The AFLW Academy features the best under-18 footballing talent from around the country all playing on the one team, so it's a great chance to see the cream of the next draft crop in action.

All AFLW Academy players are eligible to be drafted ahead of the 2024 AFLW season, with Shineah Goody, Elaine Grigg, Lila Keck, Alyssia Pisano and Lauren Young all set to take to the field in the Academy team.

The under-23 side features Victorian, Tasmanian and Northern Territorian talent as nominated by AFLW clubs, as well as a few in-form 18-year-old draft prospects.
