FORMER Adelaide premiership forward Abbey Holmes has nominated for the West Australian draft pool ahead of October's NAB AFLW Draft.
Holmes played 11 of a possible 15 games for the Crows in the 2017 and 2018 seasons, winning a flag in the first year of the competition, but was delisted at the end of the second.
The 28-year-old was on Richmond's VFLW list this year but didn't play a game as she participated as a contestant on the most recent season of Australian Survivor, where she came fifth.
Holmes' partner is Keegan Brooksby, the former Gold Coast ruckman who joined West Coast this year in the Pre-Season Supplemental Selection Period as a rookie.
The AFLW Draft is state-based, to allow players to select the area they wish to be drafted in, assisting with their work and study commitments given the competition is not yet full-time.
Next year will mark the first time both Fremantle and West Coast will field sides in the NAB AFLW competition.
The draft will be held on October22 at the Melbourne Showgrounds.
