WHEN Brisbane played Collingwood a month ago, star tagger Cathy Svarc held damaging Pies co-captain Bri Davey to just 14 disposals.
But the bullocking midfielder is coming off a 31-touch, seven-clearance finals performance against North Melbourne, and Collingwood coach Steve Symonds has told Brisbane to bring on the aggression.
"Bri's a quality player and an unbelievable competitor. I think Bri took some really good learnings from that game as well, that she went a little bit defensively to try and take herself away from the ball and allow our players to do their stuff," Symonds said.
"We spoke about it afterwards that we want Bri to be in there amongst it. I think you'll find Bri Davey to be pretty combative this weekend and she'll be in and around the ball rather than sitting back. I think as a team and an individual, we learned a lot from that game and we think we'll see a different outcome this time.

"Bri can handle herself pretty well, so I think the more physicality she gets, it actually goes the other way and inspires her and she actually goes even harder.
"To be honest, I hope Brisbane goes pretty hard at her because that'll actually get her going even better for us.
"From that perspective, we've got a good ethos in our team that we're family and look after each other and I have no doubt Bri will have our back, everyone will be supporting her and she doesn't have to worry about that, she's got the whole team around."
After a few concerning weeks, Collingwood is relatively clear on the injury front.
Jaimee Lambert has escaped delayed concussion after a head knock against the Roos, Sophie Casey has recovered from her own concussion and fellow defender Lauren Butler (hamstring) is a shock chance to play in the Grand Final, should the Pies qualify.
Butler tore her right hamstring against Brisbane back in round seven, and was initially ruled out for the season, along with partner in crime Jordy Allen (foot).
PRELIMINARY FINALS REVEALED Who plays who in week two
"'Soph' is tracking really well, so clearance-wise, she'll be all good for this week," Symonds said.
"Now, we've just got to go away when we do our selection process over the next few days and consider if we're going to make changes, how many changes that is, all the things you do for selection.
"We think Lauren Butler's still a sneaky chance, so we're trying to work with her, there's still no guarantee she will, but she's tracking really well at the moment.
"The initial diagnosis was for the season, but she's put the work in and is looking pretty good at the moment, so whether she does get back, we're not too sure, but she's tracking pretty well at the moment."
The Pies will be without backline coach Jordan Roughead due to his AFL match against GWS on the same day, and will split the defensive coaching duties between their development coaches and Symonds himself.
