The South Australian National Football League (SANFL) is the governing body for Australian Football in South Australia and our mission is to protect, lead, manage and deliver the promotion and development of the Game.

The role of CEO is becoming vacant due to the planned retirement of the present incumbent (Mr Leigh Whicker AM), taking effect later this calendar year.

We are seeking expressions of interest from candidates who can demonstrate a range of managerial and interpersonal skills at the highest level, in order to undertake this highly rewarding and challenging role.

Reporting to the Chairman of the Commission (SA Football Commission), the appointee must possess a mix of leadership, operational and financial management understanding in order to discharge this role. A career to date in senior sports management, leadership and administration would present an ideal background for this role, in addition to a strong commercial focus.

Candidates must have an outstanding track record in successfully providing high quality service delivery, gained from working within a complex, challenging environment.
