The Hawks remain unbeaten going into the this week’s AFL bye weekend and will look forward to a couple of days break before preparing to play Port Adelaide at Aurora Stadium.

Even though the Hawks don’t play this weekend there is still plenty happening at the Club.

Membership has just passed 38,500 and the Club is pushing towards 40,000 before the AFL cut off in June.

Over the next 16 weeks the Hawks will be on free-to-air for 11 of those games, which includes three Friday night games against West Coast, Geelong and Collingwood.

If you’re looking for your footy fix next weekend head down to Box Hill City oval and support Box Hill as they take on Geelong at 2pm. If that’s not enough you can support Sam Mitchell, Campbell Brown, Brad Sewell, Jarryd Roughead, Trent Croad and Lance Franklin as they take part in the Hall of Fame tribute match at the MCG.

Finally a number of Hawthorn players will head back to their junior footy club this weekend to help celebrate 150 years of football so keep an eye out on hawthornfc.com.au for more details to see if a player will be in your area.
