The member who submits Hawthorn’s correct final membership number (submitted to the AFL after 30 June 2010) will win*:
- A $500 Flight Centre voucher
- Team-signed 2010 Hawks lithograph guernsey
If no correct entries are submitted, the member submitting the closest entry above the official membership number wins.

How to submit your membership number
It’s very simple and will take you less than a minute. Email membershipnumber@hawthornfc.com.au with the following in the email body:
- Your 2010 membership number
- A nickname (to be displayed publicly)
- Your full name
- What you think Hawthorn’s membership number will be at close of business 30 June 2010

Membership statistics
Before you rush to get your entry in, take a moment to read some brief statistics on Hawthorn’s membership tallies in recent history to assist your decision.
- The 2010 membership number as of Friday 19 February stands at 43,023
- The Club has set a target of 55,000 members
- The Club’s 2009 tally of 52,493 was made up of approximately 17,000 new members (those who weren’t a member in 2008)
- Tasmania’s membership tally in 2009 finished at 7259. Currently in Tasmania, there are approximately 7100 members

Terms and conditions
- 2010 Hawthorn Football Club Members can only submit one entry
- Once an entry has been submitted, it is final and cannot be updated
- Only financial members of the Hawthorn Football Club in 2010 are eligible to enter. If you have a membership account in arrears as at 30 June 2010, you are ineligible to win any prizes
- Entries close 5pm EST Friday 26 March 2010
- ‘Final membership number’ means the official membership number submitted on June 30 2010 to the AFL which does not include ‘non-access memberships’ such as Hawks Fanatic. This number is updated on a regular basis on membership.hawthornfc.com.au
- Hawthorn’s final membership tally will be released on membership.hawthornfc.com.au on 1 July 2010, with the winner to be announced shortly after
- If the number you tip has been taken by another member, the Hawthorn Football Club will contact you to change your submission. Membership numbers cannot be taken by more than one member.
- ‘Junior member’ means Hawthorn Football Club 2010 members who hold a junior membership type. Members must be under the age of 15 as at 1/1/2010
- Members are asked to submit a nickname when submitting their number. If a nickname is not provided ‘name withheld’ will be displayed. If a nickname is deemed inappropriate in any way by administration staff ‘name withheld’ will also be displayed
