GENERAL MANAGER - FOOTBALL OPERATIONS

Victorian Amateur Football Association seeks a dedicated person for the above role.

The successful candidate will have a keen attention to detail, as well as the vision, communication and management skills to assist in the VAFA's expansion.

The person chosen will join a small, energetic team at Sportscover Arena, Elsternwick, committed to the ethos of the VAFA and its 12,000 players, who play "for the love of the game".

Required Experience:
Tertiary qualification in business and sports management or relevant field.

Highly developed verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

Previous exposure to community football
administration.

A preparedness to work extended hours including after hours meetings and weekends during the football season.

Desired:
Experience working in the sport and recreation industry
Footyweb management experience
Experience working with volunteers.
