Merchandise Manager

An exciting full time opportunity has arisen at this AFL Club for a Merchandise Manager, reporting to the General Manager - Consumer Business & Fan Development.

The position of Merchandise Manager involves the management, co-ordination and execution of effective strategies that maximise the potential income to the Club in the area of merchandise, memorabilia and online auctions.

This role also manages the club donations/community request programs as well as the retail sales program for the Melbourne Tigers NBL team.

This is a senior role within the consumer business team and is responsible for all key deliverables including providing excellent customer service, maximizing profit growth and continually growing the product range available to consumers.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:
• Degree in Sports Administration/Marketing or related discipline
• Previous experience in a retail leadership role
• Honest & hard working
• Strong understanding of CRM and POS applications
• Ability to meet deadlines & manage time effectively
• An interest in sport
