Dual premiership player James Kelly is encouraging the Geelong community to take part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave.

Whilst he hasn’t been directly affected by cancer, he’s very keen to help.

“Cancer is such a horrible disease and anything we can do to create awareness and raise more money for research is definitely worthwhile”, said Kelly

The World’s Greatest Shave helps raise vital funds to ensure the Leukaemia Foundation can improve patients’ quality of life through personalised and practical care.

Lauren Crouch, pictured with James, is planning to shave off her long curly hair and hopes to raise $5000 for the Foundation. She will be part of a group of people shaving or colouring their hair at the Barwon Club on Saturday 13 March from 1.00pm to 3.00pm.
