THANK YOU MEMBERS ROUND
The Brisbane Lions will dedicate this Saturday night's Round 22 match against the Sydney Swans at the Gabba to thanking all its loyal members for being such an important part of the Lions family throughout the 2010 home and away season.
The Club will pay special tribute to its membership 'team behind the team' during the match with scoreboard video messages, a lucky seat prize in every Lions members section and an on-field guernsey presentation.
22 lucky members who've attended every home game this year will be invited onto the field after the match to receive personally signed jumpers from one of the players.
KEVIN MURRAY TRIBUTE LAP
Brisbane-based Lions fans will have the opportunity to honour Club great and AFL Legend Kevin 'Bulldog' Murray prior to this Saturday night's match against the Sydney Swans at the Gabba.
Murray will perform his second lap of honour in as many weeks after being acknowledged by the Club's Victorian fans prior to last Sunday's game against Essendon at Etihad Stadium.
Murray became just the 23rd person in the history of the game to be officially elevated to Legend status back in June at the Australian Football Hall of Fame dinner in Melbourne.
He played a Club-record 333 games with Fitzroy, won a Club-record nine Best & Fairest awards, was selected in two All-Australian teams and, of course, won the 1969 Brownlow Medal.
He was named Captain of Fitzroy's Team of the Century and was one of only two Club representatives named in the AFL Team of the Century back in 1996.
BOQ #1 LIONS FAN
The national search to find BOQ's #1 Lions Fan - the person most passionate and the character most colourful in their commitment to the Brisbane Lions - has uncovered hundreds of true Lionhearts since launching on Monday 5 July.
There have been more than 250 video entries uploaded to the competition from all over Australia and 500 photographs have been taken at recent games.
Seven year-old Tyson Cromie was revealed as the winner last Friday following his video entry which can be viewed online by clicking here.
Tyson will receive fan-fare like no other surrounding this Saturday night's Round 22 clash between the Lions and the Swans at the Gabba. His ultimate Lions experience will include running onto the field with Lions mascot Bernie 'Gabba' Vegas, exclusive access to a Brisbane Lions training session, seats near the interchange bench alongside the umpires and ground manager, match-day interviews and much more.
This type of access into the heart of the Club has never been offered to a Lions fan before.
POTENTIAL MILESTONES
Vice-Captain Jed Adcock is set to line up for his 100th AFL match this Saturday night when the Lions face Sydney at the Gabba.
Adcock was recruited to the Lions from the North Ballarat U18 side with the Club's second round selection (Pick No.33 overall) in the 2003 AFL National Draft.
He finished Runner-Up in the Club Champion award back in 2007, was the 2005 Lions Rookie of the Year and was selected in the preliminary AFL All-Australian squad in 2007.
He has been an integral member of the Lions' Leadership Group for the past two seasons after being named as one of four Club Vice-Captains at the beginning of 2009.
The 100-game milestone means that Adcock will now join the likes of Haydn Bunton Snr, Allan Ruthven, Warwick Irwin and Scott McIvor by having his name honoured on the number 7 locker at the Gabba.

LAST TIME THEY MET
The Lions suffered their second loss of the 2010 season at the hands of the Sydney Swans at the SCG.
The Swans led at every change and were able to withstand a couple of second half surges from the Lions to run out 20-point winners.
Former Lions spearhead Daniel Bradshaw proved the main difference between the two sides with six goals in his first official outing against his old team.
Lions forward pair Jonathan Brown and Brendan Fevola each booted four goals while Todd Banfield's three goals were enough to earn him the Round 6 AFL Rising Star Nomination.

The Lions will face Sydney in the final round of the home and away season for the third consecutive season this Saturday night at the Gabba.
After scoring 100 points or more in five of their first seven matches this season, the Lions have not reached triple figures in their past 14 games.
Vice-Captain Simon Black has averaged a team-high 25.8 disposals in his 17 matches so far this season and is on track to claim a new personal best. Black's previous best was 25.7 disposals per game back in 2008.
Captain Jonathan Brown's 16 marks against Essendon last Sunday was just one mark shy of his personal best of 17 marks in a match which he has achieved twice in his career - against Essendon in Round 12 of 2006 and against Hawthorn in Round 5 of 2004.
Former Sydney premiership player Amon Buchanan was acquired by the Lions during last year's AFL Trade Period while dual Lions premiership player and full-forward Daniel Bradshaw joined the Swans via the 2009 AFL Pre-Season Draft.
The Lions have won just four of their past 16 matches against Sydney.
Swans champion Adam Goodes has polled Brownlow Medal votes in five of his past eight matches against the Lions.
