How long should the season be? That’s a common question the abounds both inside the game and in work places around Australia.

It seems the answer depends on where you sit in the game, as premiership defender Josh Hunt pointed out on the latest edition of CAT CHAT.

“If you are a young (player), you want to play as many games as you can, but I’m getting older!” Hunt said.

“It’s something to have a good look at. There been a lot of injury, and a lot of those have been soft tissue injuries. Playing extra games will take its toll.”

The CAT CHAT panel also discuss:

  • The big win over Gold Coast
  • Gary Ablett missing the game through injury
  • Steve Johnson’s brilliance
  • David Wojcinski’s great running goal
  • Terrible injuries around the AFL
  • Jimmy Bartel’s impending 200th game
  • Adam Goode’s after the siren miss
  • Chad Cornes retirement
  • Shane Warne’s weight loss
