The AFL is Australia’s premier sporting organisation, supporting a constantly evolving national competition which has experienced rapid growth over the past ten years. This role is responsible for helping to ensure the commercial success of Team GWS.

Team GWS is looking for a dynamic sales consultant to join our commercial team to:

  • Assist in making the NAB Cup event at BOP a commercial success
  • Help Team GWS achieve Commercial milestones in the lead up to the announcement of the Club license by the AFL.

Reporting to the General Manager - Commercial Partnerships you will be responsible for:

  • The sale of hospitality and signage packages for the upcoming NAB Cup Game/s at Blacktown Olympic Park.
  • Identification of potential Foundation Partners for Team GWS
  • Helping to develop a portfolio of commercial opportunities (products and events) for Team GWS
  • Develop a database of local businesses that will provide commercial opportunities to Team GWS

To be successful in this role you will have the following essential traits:

  • Strong Communication Skills- both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of the game of AFL and Greater Western Sydney
  • The ability to Identify Sales Opportunities and work autonomously when required
  • Competent in Microsoft Office products

This role is a fixed term role for a period of 3 months. A generous commission scheme as well as a base applies.
