Hawks star Sam Mitchell and wife Lyndall have announced that they are expecting twins in late April 2011.

Sam and Lyndall are already proud parents to Smith, who was born in April this year, and are readying themselves for a full-house.

The couple had their 12 week scans on Tuesday in Brisbane and are said to delighted, if not a little scared at confirming to their friends and family that they have double-trouble on the way.
