New to the 2007 season, the Army Award aimsto recognise and reward those one-percenter efforts such as game-breakingsmothers, tackles and shepherds.

At the end of the home and away season, theAFL All-Australian Selection Committee will shortlist the 22 weekly winningacts to six nominations, which will then be voted on by the public through afl.com.au.The All-Australian selection committee will then endorse the winner.

In2007, the AFL Army Award winner will receive a $10,000 Army Experience. Theaward will be officially presented at the 2007 Coca-Cola All-Australianpresentation dinner.
