FIRST-ROUND draftee Elliott Kavanagh and young defender Alex Browne are Essendon's latest delistings ahead of Friday's first list lodgement.
Kavanagh, 22, who was recruited with selection No.19 overall in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft, played 12 senior games during his time as a Bomber.
And Browne, 23, who missed the entire 2014 season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the NAB Challenge of that year, managed to play 11.
"Alex and Elliott are both terrific young men and were fine representatives of the Essendon Football Club," list manager Adrian Dodoro said.
"Despite limited opportunities in the senior team, both worked extremely hard to ensure they got the most out of their careers.
"Alex and Elliott showed tremendous resilience and determination to work their way back into senior selection this season, Elliott on his game while Alex overcame a serious knee injury.
"From everyone at the football club, we wish Alex and Elliott all the best for the next chapter in the careers."
The Bombers have already delisted Kurt Aylett and Lauchlan Dalgleish, while Jake Carlisle, Jake Melksham and Jonathan Giles have been traded out. Matthew Leuenberger and Craig Bird the arrivals to date.
Veterans Dustin Fletcher, Jason Winderlich and Paul Chapman have retired.
Very disappointing. Thankyou to those who have supported me through everything in the 5 years. Get behind the players, they deserve success.
