GOLD Coast have acquired Port Adelaide forward Aaron Young in exchange for a future fourth-round draft pick.
The Power will receive the 2018 fourth-round selection that the Suns obtained from Adelaide in the deal for Harrison Wigg.
Young, 24, arrives at the Suns searching for more opportunities to play regular senior football.
He brings plenty of experience having played 76 games for the Power since being selected with the 36th pick of the 2010 NAB AFL Draft.
Young's most productive season was in 2016 when he kicked 37 goals and averaged 16 possessions per game.
However, he played just 13 games this year and was squeezed out of the side with Robbie Gray effectively taking over his role in the forward line.
Young has also found plenty of the ball as a midfielder in the SANFL and could add depth to the Suns' onball brigade.
