A key component to achieving this goal is the work of Community Training, part of SpiritWest Services, the community arm of the Western Bulldogs. SpiritWest Services is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate sessional trainer and administrator to work with our Community Training team for the next 12 months.
Working with diverse groups through sports and vocational based programs, this position will be responsible for the effective delivery and administration of training and other community programs by Western Bulldogs SpiritWest Services. The Community Training Administrator will be responsible for the effective delivery and assessment of foundation training programs, specifically the Certificate I in Transition Education, the Certificate I in Work Education, the Certificate II in General Education for Adults undertaken by SpiritWest Services across the Western suburbs of Melbourne. These programs are primarily designed for people with intellectual disability.
The incumbent will be required to autonomously deliver and assess courses, including pre-accredited training and accredited training programs. Additionally the Community Training Administrator is responsible for ensuring Community Training meets all standards related to its contractual, quality and legislated commitments and to ensure SpiritWest Services administrative and front office processes are implemented.
To be considered for this role you must the following qualifications/experiences:
- Certificate IV in Training & Evaluation
- Training or teaching experience
- Experience delivering programs to at risk groups, specifically people with a disability
- Working with Children Check
- Training Administration experience
