Big ticket item: Collingwood's running defender Paul Seedsman wants to join the Crows with a second round pick likely to feature in the deal while Sam Kerridge is a chance to end up at Carlton.
What else is on the shopping list: Adelaide has the salary cap space to make a play for an A-grade midfielder but the expectation is that it won't happen this season. The Crows certainly made it known throughout the season opportunities would present if Dangerfield left but it appears they might have to wait 12 months to land a big fish.

Big ticket item: Negotiations on James Aish's worth have begun with Collingwood but the emergence of North Melbourne as a possible suitor has the potential to enliven those discussions. The deal the Lions can do for Aish will determine the number of points available for them when they gain Academy graduates Ben Keays and Eric Hipwood.
What else is on the shopping list: Josh Walker and David Astbury are both middle ranking talls that will have opportunities at the Lions. Astbury has been a solid defender but injuries have stood in his way while Walker is an endurance athlete who can mark, kick goals and ruck. Walker kicked five goals against the Brisbane Lions in 2015. Astbury has a decision to make as he has a year to run on his contract with the Tigers while Walker is out of contract. Jarrad Jansen will also join from Geelong with a deal likely to be completed on Monday while the club has enquired about North Melbourne's Ryan Bastinac. The club need key forwards and key defenders and is also likely to need a back-up ruckman to support Stefan Martin who has just one year remaining on his contract.

Big ticket item: Securing a bunch of Giants such as Lachie Plowman, Jed Lamb and Andrew Phillips for a first round draft pick that gives the Giants points. Ideally they can land several picks inside 20 to renew the talent on the books with the trading of Chris Yarran to Richmond likely to provide them the chance to do that.
What else is on the shopping list: Sam Kerridge from Adelaide and Adam Tomlinson from Greater Western Sydney will potentially become Blues at the end of the trade period. Tomlinson is contracted so Carlton will need to do some work to convince Greater Western Sydney trading him out is worthwhile.

STILL TO COME
Big ticket item: Greater Western Sydney's Adam Treloar is the priority with the Giants holding up the process, while the negotiations between Melbourne and Collingwood for Jeremy Howe could see a second round pick and Ben Kennedy to the Demons. The Brisbane Lions will see what Collingwood has to offer for James Aish and the Magpies are negotiating the departure of Nathan Freeman and Paul Seedsman with discussions focusing on second round picks.
What else is on the shopping list: The Magpies' targets have been pretty obvious for a while now with Collingwood taking time to determine how they might both fit Howe into their team and get the deal done.

Big ticket item: Jake Carlisle negotiations will take up most of their time with pick No.5 clearly in their sights. Hawthorn's entry into the race was dramatic and significant as it put the Bombers in the box seat. If the Saints want Carlisle now the No.5 pick will need to head to Essendon or become part of the solution. Otherwise Hawthorn will swoop with picks 15 and 18.
What else is on the shopping list: If they can head to the draft with pick No.4 and 5 then they will have had a very successful trade period. Those picks would give them the chance to land a talent such as Geelong Falcons midfielder Darcy Parish and another quality midfielder with speed. If they gain picks 15 and 18 they may try to shift them around for a top 10 pick in this year's NAB AFL Draft.

Big ticket item: Finding a key forward. They had a crack at Greater Western Sydney's Cam McCarthy but the Giants don't look like budging. However McCarthy still wants to get back to Western Australia at some point and his currency is high now. They may move on to Carlton's Levi Casboult but the big Blue is unlikely to leave unless the Blues find another key forward while North Melbourne's Aaron Black remains a possible target.
What else is on the shopping list: The Dockers were expected to remain active right until the end of the trade period as they seek a key forward to take over from Matthew Pavlich or, at least, provide a stop gap measure until they attract a player of note.

Big-ticket item: The Cats have fired nearly all of their trade period shots in the first week, but will now look to snare Gold Coast ruckman Zac Smith for a second or third-round pick.
What else is on the shopping list: The Cats can hardly bring in any more players can they? But forward Josh Walker and midfielder Jarrad Jansen are expected to join the Brisbane Lions in exchange for draft picks.

Big-ticket item: The Suns will add Port Adelaide's pick No.10 to their draft stockpile in the deal for Charlie Dixon, and are aiming to extract another pick from the Power, probably in the second round.
What else is on the shopping list: The Suns missed out on Melbourne high-flyer Jeremy Howe (despite the Demons' preference to trade with them rather than Collingwood) and Collingwood defender Paul Seedsman, but look set to secure North ruckman Daniel Currie. They also look likely to lose ruckman Zac Smith in a trade with Geelong.

Big-ticket item: The Giants are looking to exact the best possible price from Collingwood for star youngster Adam Treloar, and will likely snare the Pies' 2015 and 2016 first-round picks and throw Collingwood back a second-round selection.
What else is on the shopping list: Having brought in some mature-age players in recent seasons, the Giants' main priority is to stockpile draft picks to give them the points they will need to draft academy players Jacob Hopper and Matthew Kennedy. Jed Lamb, Liam Sumner, Lachie Plowman and Andrew Phillips are still likely to be part of a package deal to Carlton that nets the Giants a second-round pick, while Adam Tomlinson could join the Blues in a separate deal. Midfielder Tom Bugg is expected to join Melbourne.

Big-ticket item: The Hawks could yet steal Essendon tall Jake Carlisle from St Kilda's clutches with the Bombers having already indicated picks No.15 and 18 will get the deal done.
What else is on the shopping list: If the Hawks miss out on Carlisle, opposition teams will be nervous knowing one of the competition's very best traders has salary cap room to land a big name. But if the Carlisle deal gets done, the Hawks won't have scope to do much else. Unrestricted free agent Brendan Whitecross has met with GWS and the Brisbane Lions, while fringe midfielder Jonathan Simpkin has attracted some rival interest.

Big-ticket item: The Demons would prefer to deal with Gold Coast on Jeremy Howe, with the Suns prepared to swap pick No.3 for the Dees' No.6 as part of the deal. However, they will almost certainly end up trading with Howe's preferred club, Collingwood, who could offer Ben Kennedy and a second-round pick, or two second-round picks.
What else is on the shopping list: The Demons are likely to pick up Giants midfielder Tom Bugg, but could lose 2012's No.4 draft pick Jimmy Toumpas to Port Adelaide in exchange for a second-round selection.

Big-ticket item: The Roos' late play to snare James Aish from Collingwood's clutches will require a change of heart from the wantaway Brisbane Lions midfielder but, that permitting, Ryan Bastinac and a second-round pick could get the deal done.
What else is on the shopping list: North has been very active this trade period, but missed out on Paul Seedsman and Jeremy Howe. Aish appears the Roos' last big target, but they could look at a ruckman given Daniel Currie is expected to join Gold Coast. Midfielder Bastinac is expected to seek a fresh start, most probably with the Lions, while South Australian left-footer Brad McKenzie has attracted some interest from rival clubs.

Big ticket item: The Power land key Charlie Dixon with their pick No.10 and find a sweetener in the middle of the second round to complete the deal.
What else is on the shopping list: Power pair Andrew Moore and Aaron Young are looking at moving to new clubs, which could help Port shift some later picks up the order. Dixon is their priority though – and talks are ongoing so any such deals will need to wait.

Big ticket item: Chris Yarran makes his way from Carlton to Tigerland in exchange for a late first-round selection, between No.15 or even the early 20s.
What else is on the shopping list: Richmond is looking at trading key defender David Astbury to the Brisbane Lions in a move that could help them land the pick they need to secure Yarran and keep their own pick No.12. The Tigers had early interest in GWS midfielder Adam Treloar but were unable to scoop Collingwood.

Big ticket item: The Saints' backflip on their insistence not to trade pick No.5 and land Jake Carlisle from Essendon. With Hawthorn now in the game it would seem the only way to get the deal done, unless the Saints can leverage the Pre-Season Draft. The Saints may receive something else on the way back from the Bombers.
What else is on the shopping list: The Saints will keep looking at ways to split their pick No.5 in such a way that they maintain a first-round pick and secure Carlisle. It will be tough though. Collingwood's Nathan Freeman is in their sights and will cost at least one second round selection.

Big ticket item: The Swans have landed their priority in Sinclair and will round out their Trade Period if they can secure key defender Michael Talia for free.
What else is on the shopping list: The Swans' trade restrictions meant this was always going to be a quiet period for the club and week two will bring few surprise moves. Talia ideally gets to the club as a delisted free agent, but potential interest from Essendon means the Swans may have to trade.

Big ticket item: From here, the biggest move from West Coast will be making the most of trades for Matt Rosa and Brant Colledge, ideally moving the club further up the draft order and maybe back inside the top 25.
What else is on the shopping list: Essendon ruckman Jonathan Giles has met with the Eagles and there is talk he could be involved in a trade for Rosa. A straight swap would appear uneven, but it would fill a need for the Eagles while reuniting Rosa with former coach John Worsfold. Giles for Colledge could be a fairer swap.

Big ticket item: The Bulldogs are lurking around the edges looking at ways to benefit from other clubs' deals now that they have landed Suckling, and moving up the Draft order with their later picks would be a win from here. 
What else is on the shopping list: The Bulldogs have been very specific in their approach and a lot of their targets have opted to stay put. They are comfortable taking their picks to the Draft or shifting up the order where possible. They did shock the football world with the Tom Boyd trade last year, however, so don't discount anything.
